Anniversary Lunch

Claire and John took us to lunch in a nursery for our anniversary. Earthern floor, and lycra permitted, but a least 1 Michelin star.
They had arranged a personal menu.

Cathy demanded a full recount of the food, so .... Paul's langoustine entree, and ..
  ... Cathy's gnocci, and ...
... John's ham and fig, and ...
... Claire's ravioli. Then, ...
... after personal photos, ....
... and group photos, ......
..... and John's beef main ....
...  Lissy woke up.

Paul's chicken.
Lissy then took over. We forget the other courses.

" I'll be able to reach an octave soon"
Cheesy interlude.
More Lissy.

And just desserts.

Sunday morning in Putney

We went to breakfast in Bill's, in the High Street. Sunday morning doesn't have a lot of passing trade.
Still, the food was good, and there was a queue at the door. This one was for the feeding mother .....
.... and this for the father.
Grandad had something simple, and Grannie just had toast. (No wonder she's only little)
Here we all are, before Lissy woke up.

Gymboree

Erik and Oskar went to Gymbaroo, but in England, they spell it differently.
Anyway, Lissie loved the company, and was blown away by the handsome instructor.
Look at me! (to partial instructor on left)

Lots of things to do .....
..... and games to play.
She didn't really get tired (sorry)
A bit of running around - with some help.

There's that instructor again. Cathy seemed to concentrate on taking photos of him.
And finally, the coloured parachute.(Remember that, Erik and Oskar?

Lissy loved it all so much that she immediately signed up for the whole course.

Lunch with Val

Grandad's knee exercises ............
....... and big smiles.
Lunch at a French rerstaurant in Putney before Val goes home.
For someone who didn't eat anything, Lissy really enjoyed it.
Hugs from Grannie.
Thank you, but now .....
..... hugs from Grandma
Of course, Cathy had the last word.

Going Down-ton

But first, the feed. She's eating solids happily now, but not avocado
And trying to talk a lot - constant chattering but no sense yet.

More solids. Val is getting expert at the slow-spoonful-and-duck method
This is dangerous on a full belly.

Ready for the off.
First, breakfast in Old Wandsworth town, at Brew, an Australian coffee shop
I wonder what Val is thinking.
It really is a great opportunity for a photoshop, or even a simple text box.
Cathy's nostalgia. Jane lived near here.
At last, Downton Abbey (actually Highclere Castle)

Another breakfast, at the Castle.

Cathy heading South.

More pics of the Castle

There is the green sheep (lying quietly in the green grass)
What folly!
Castled out.

Back at our flat
Lunch at Cizano House

Cathy's desert.

And then it rained.
