Chennonceaux

A very beautiful castle.
The river that the chateau spans marked the division between Occupied and Vichy France during WWII. The French Resistance smuggled many people through the chateau, and out of the occupied zone.

    We were stay on the Chissay about 10 min drive away. We came to the town near Chennonceaux and were wandering round and found the Chateau just by chance without even knowing it was there.
