a Vinsobres

On the road to Vinsobres, a cote de le pont d'Avignon
Is that a Mirage? This must be a desert.

Dinner at the village bistro.
Lissy has our old bedroom, and we've moved to the other side of the house. Now we see Mt Ventoux, and a lot of very old French people.

Lunch at Val's. If we're not eating out, it's salad, ham, pate and bread, with a nice rose.
Lissy and Mummy.
We went to Dave and Kath's wedding anniversary party. They live a few doors away, in the village.
Feeding time. This seems to be Lissy's main pastime, although she is developing a penchant for singing Gilbert and Sullivan. (Well, humming along anyway)
Dave, Trevor and me at the party.
Val and Kath.

The actual dinner party for Kath and Dave's 46th anniversary.
Lissy and Adam.
Lavender fields and vineyards in the hills above Vinsobres.
Same view, but with a forward obstruction.

  1. Lissy will certainly not be singing "When I was a lad" but in a year she can sing "Poor Wandering One" of her grandparents of course.

Glad to see you happy on the bike Paul. No doubt you were heading uphill!

If you'd sublet your room to Lissy you could have demanded rent and made a profit on the deal.

  2. Could be a desert, or could be Williamtown NSW.
