Bruges day 2

Scene from our bedroom window. European street manoeuvres.
Across the canal from the hotel. Huge storm last night, and solid rain all this morning.
This chruch, St W...'s, was the first Jesuit church dedicated to St Francis Xavier. I don't know why, it just was. I checked the dome, Karl, and it was real
Inside the church (not piety, really, just out of the rain).
 The organ.
This is back in Markt Square, and the belfrey is where Brendan Gleeson (some actor) jumped to his death to distract the villian from killing his friend. Maybe you had to be there - in Bruges, of course.
Too wet to walk, so we joined the tourists on a mini-bus for a tour of the city.
 More of the Markt.

We thought we'd leave the canal tour 'till another day.
Here are some sights around a very wet Bruges.

 Don't drawl, Peter!
Outside the Theatre Hall - a statue of Papageno.

Maybe it will fine up tomorrow.

  2. Looks very much like a movie I once saw.

Where are the chips with mayonaisse, is that a real thing?
