Last Days in Provence

To brace ourselves for leaving Provence we went off to lunch in Grignon.

The girls outside the old Roman bathhouse

It's a beautiful old town with lots of alleys.

Lunch! Cold pea and mint soup with a goat cheese and broad bean thingo on the side.

Anne ate this.

The restaurant was called Clair de la plume

A spontaneous burst of G & S that night

Riding off all the kilojoules next morning.

Coffee in Nyons.

Fantastic rock formations on a drive to Remazat

Lunch at a little village in the mountains.

The view from the restaurant terrace.

Given Pierre's ordering and eating habits, this could well be the last sheep in France

A new one. A tunnel with windows.

More fantastic rocks.

If you look closely, you'll see the eagles.

A rainbow over Vinsobres. It's time to go.

  1. Ahhhh, thank goodness you are back on line, I missed you greatly.

You did not mention Romans bathing. I take it that there were none.

Lunch at Grignon, looks much like the other lunches photographed (said he petulantly)

I see there's only a photo of Paul the Cyclist and not Pierre the cyclist. Was he taking the photo?

Have to go we are being evacuated.

  2. I looked vainly for more stuff on the blog and then looked at the clever title to this episode, looked up the net and;

    On the road again -
Just can't wait to get on the road again.
The life I love is making music with my friends

And I can't wait to get on the road again.
    On the road again

  3. Don't you realise how much no blogging ruins my morale?

What are you doing over there?

    Use Facebook!

I need to be depressed by pictures of more pub meals and of fun and frolics on Kerensa.

    You are being most unfair.

  4. We're loving looking at all these pictures but you do seem to be spending an inordinate amount of time devouring all that wonderful looking food!!! We're expecting BIG things on your eventual return to us....The weather looks good in most of the pictures;quite frustrating for poor old us suffering in minus temps. some days. Travel safe; continues having a wonderful time. Love from us Helen & Frank
