We went UNDER the Bastile monument,
















in a 2.2 km tunnel. The guide told Anne that
a) there was a tunnel
b) it was rat infested (large, sabre-toothed vermin)
c) there was a ghost clarinetist (in fact, it was the guide)
Anne did not flinch. She girded her loins with her trusty camera, and clicked away. In Tony's words, she is encouragable!!
