On Sunday (the day after we arrived) Val put on a 'Welcome and show Lissy" party for about 30 family and friends, in her house and garden.
Firstly, though, some light reading.
Then meeting Grannie again.......
............ before Daddy carted her off to be fed.

I was then relagated to the laundry to do the drinks for the day. I sub-contracted Pimms construction to John, as Pimms isn't a real drink.
Lissy dropped in to check my work.
She then had to go with Claire to greet Brenda, Val's mother.
Now in party gear, talking to Brenda.

Brothers. Adam and John.
We had to construct a pergola on the deck. This took a long time, despite the fact that at least 5 engineers (3 from Rolls Royce) and a merchant banker were helping.
At last we succeeded, which called for another drink!
The girls had a great day, but then they ran out of steam and had to be put to bed.
