Trompe l'oeil and othe French tricks

This isn't a letter box, just a painting on the wall.

Nor is this a window.

This snack bar isn't open 'a tout heures'

And I thought this painting was a bit tinny

We nearly convinced Peter that this cocktail decoration should be placed in his nostrils, but he ignored us and ate the large concoction on the table.

Saint Anne. A likely story!

Notice that the French have painted the trees white on both sides of the road

A French bike rack.

The last reminds me of tomorrow's main chore. We are off to Maussanne-les-Alpilles to find a good spot for Thursday, when the Tour comes through. We've left the Australian flag with Claire, so if you're watching, we're the ones who are cheering Orica Green Edge!

  1. The Snack Bar was probably towed away and won't open till the fine is paid.

It's probably a Tin Man factory. Let me know if you see a Dorothy or Toto? factory.

Did you find out what St Anne's vocable was? I thought I had one at home but the handle came off.

    Non bicyclette
